Lynx Introduction


The MeT Lynx system is designed to provide automated dispatch, reporting and management of field personnel in a range of different business activity areas such as field service, sales force automation, duty crews assignments and so forth.

The Lynx system accepts tasks (jobs) and personnel assignments from external sources via manual input, interfaces to existing call centres systems or an optional Automated Call Centre system. The Lynx server then automatically contacts the nominated person, relays details of the task and monitors their execution of the task.

Lynx automatically receives, distributes, logs, tracks and reports calls to:

  • reduce operating costs;

  • reduce call response times;

  • increase customer service efficiency; and

  • increase customer satisfaction.

A Lynx system implementation comprises a fault tolerant database server, flexible communications technology, customised integration and MeT support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
